Well, technically Himalayas are quite far from Delhi and will have you take on an over-night journey at least to reach. If it's your first time travelling to the mountains, why dont you explore Manali?

Parvathi Valley is one of the most picturesque area not only in Himachal but around India ! Kullu, Manali , Dharamshala, Shimla etc are all now tourist spots and offer very less quite space . If you wish to seek seclusion , try moving a bit higher , such as if you happen to go towards kullu manali side, try to go to Tosh , a small village ahead Kasol , with limited accessibility and less mobile coverage, Tosh is a place to get lost into for a few days if you need some peaceful time . It has couple of cafes which offers good food, you can go hiking to waterfall region , they have tent stays too at waterfall, or you can stay at a lodge in Tosh village itself.
