Travelling to Kasol next week (October). Is it possible to get hostel/camp rever side in Kasol without any prior booking at cheap rates? Also, please suggest if I should make prior trek & camp booking for Kheerganga or I can get it easily over there.

I would suggest you to go a little further till chalal village and camp over there, instead of kasol. No need of prior bookings. Also in Kheerganga you can get the tents easily.
