Hi, Since you have only one day to explore Vadodara, try to cover most popular places. Such as in the early morning, plan for Sayaji baug. After that visit Laxmivilas palace and a museum if you wish to. Laxmivilas palace entry fee is approx. 150 Rs per person. You have to pay additional if you have DSLR camera. Entry fee to museum is approx. 60 Rs per person. If you like to visit historical places go visit the oldest Ganesha temple of Vadodara "Dhundiraj ganpati madir. At evening visit Sursagar lake.
