Kerala popularly called as God's own country has unique culture with lot of festivals to explore. Onam is the popular festival celebrated in the month of August -september where the belief King Mahabali comes alive on this day. It's a four day celebration where Sadya the lunch of Onam festival is a must to taste. Pooram- It is grandly celebrated in Thrissur honouring Lord Shiva which is a 10 day festival that ends with fireworks. Vishu- Popularly known as Vishukani that denotes the begining of new year of Kerala which is a 2 day festival. Vishu kanji is a gruel dish must to taste. Theyyam is an art dance festival, while atutukal pongala is a harvest festival.
