If you are a Holi buff, then this carnival of colors can be best celebrated in the city of Mathura and Vrindavan in India. The Dwarkadheesh temple in Mathura is the best to catch the color fancy along with a show with colorful music procession taking place from the temples to the river where the festival is marked.
This is totally an unmissable colorful experience!

It will be decided by the partner. There would be some flexibility available. If you win your preference would be taken into account as much as possible.

Hi Aakanksha! Since I travelled mostly on long weekend, places near Delhi were quite convenient. As for places like Sikkim, its all about finding the cheapest flights and the best time.

Download maps of that area. Check cheapest travel options. Ask friends for advice(who have been there). Carry emergency accessories and cash. Hope this was helpful

I haven't faced any gender bias as such. But I am extremely paranoid about my safety, I carry a pepper spray AND a swiss-knife at all times. Fortunately, I haven't really been inconvenienced as such. In fact, people are more helpful.
