This fact about my travels from 2017 has been troubling me as well! I really want to explore regions beyond North. You know, I haven't even been to Goa. Maybe you can join me for that?

Thanks for the question, Vadhish! I tend to exceed my budget on city trips such as Udaipur, Mumbai and Jaipur as I underestimate the cost of food and end up splurging on souvenirs. As for a place which I wished to stay for a few more days, that would have to be Sikkim. It's unlike any other destination in India.

Hi Anjali, thanks for the question! This might seem a bit odd but since I have travelled only around India, I experience a strange sense of patriotism everywhere.

Hi Anagh! Thank you! And its always good to start with a nearby destination. Somewhere you can go for a weekend getaway. As for a tip, if you are really apprehensive of travelling alone then go to a place you have already been. :)

If you're looking for a secluded and less-explored area in the Tirthan Valley beyond Bhuntar and Jibhi, consider exploring these offbeat spots: 1. Gushaini: Highlights: Serene and less touristy compared to Jibhi. Activities: Riverside camping, nature walks, and trout fishing. 2. Shoja: Highlights: Offers breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings. Activities: Trek to Serolsar Lake, explore Raghupur Fort ruins. 3. Banjar: Highlights: Tranquil village offering solitude amidst nature. Activities: Visit the Chehni Kothi, a historic tower, and explore local culture. 4. GHNP Buffer Zone: Highlights: Gateway to the Great Himalayan National Park. Activities: Lesser-known trails, birdwatching, and nature photography. 5. Gaidhar: Highlights: Offbeat village surrounded by orchards and forests. Activities: Relax amid nature, explore the village life. These areas offer serene landscapes, local experiences, and a tranquil environment, perfect for those seeking seclusion and a deeper connection with nature. Be sure to check for accommodation options and plan your travel considering the less-explored nature of these spots in the Tirthan Valley.
