Take a train to chennai and a bus from chennai to pondi,stay in a homestay or hostel and hire a bike to go around...I assure you it’d be less than 5k including everything

Train is most economical mode of transportation. You can take a train to Chennai and then from there to Pondicherry. You stay there at Hostels/Hotels for as economical as 350-450. You can get around either by renting a bicycle or bike. Avoid fancy cafés/restaurants if you're bent on saving money.

House Boats normally offer two packages one day cruise starting from 12 noon till 5PM with or without food and overnight stay in a double beded houseboat starting from 12PM to 9AM next day. For day cruise the rates normally starts from 5000 depends on how hard you bargain and for overnight stay it starts from 10000. If you are on a budget the option is to choose a canopy or small boat which charges 500 to 600 per hour and you can choose the duration of the trip. The advantage of small boat is you can cruise through even the smallest canal which houseboats couldn't go which will surely male a difference. The rates may vary depends on season. If you really need it for cab book or any other details then buy from from outside airport or local market .
In airport around 95 UAE Dirham cost (More than 1500rs ) of DU sim for you and in local market its around 60 Dirham. And if you have postpaid sim then you can activate the International Plans for it.

Hi Folk,
First thing you can not use one City metro card in another city. Its valid for that perticular city from where you bought. And if you can' t recharge through Paytm then no need of stand in queues. Just try Phonepe Wallet or can recharge with Automatic machine in metro stations.

There are tents and sleeping bags available at kedarnath. But bookings has to be made early as soon as you reach.
Because they are limited in number and crowd of people is huge.

Their are rentals, but if you are a frequent traveler I'll suggest you buy your own tents and sleeping bags.

1. If you want to witness northern lights then come from now onwards till early april
2. Otherwise the best months to travel Scandinavia are from May to August
3 They are extremely expensive countries even by European problem
4 Veg food is a concern
5 Distance between one place to another even with in a country ( eg from bergen to Tromso in Norway ) is quite a bit . So plan your travel itinerary accordingly
