You can fly to Bagdogra from Mumbai ad then enter Bhutan by car through Phuentsoling. Or else fly from Mumbai to Delhi/Kolkata and then fly from Delhi/Kolkata to Paro.
Kannur is a good option. It's got it's own airport which is connected well from Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengalaru, Chennai... Else, you could take a train to Kozhikode and then bus it out too
Hey Gaurav! Kerala is a great destination for family vacations. However, to enjoy your trip thoroughly, make sure you plan for at least a week long stay. I'm adding an article link here that can help you plan your activities. https://www.tripoto.com/trip/kerala-tourist-places-luxury-holidays
All the places are very well connected by the network of buses. If you have enough budget, you can take cab because that would provide you an excellent opportunity to visit places which are in between. Also the landscape at some of the places is beautiful and with the cab customization would be easy.
I think you should book one cab and negotiate with them to take you through all of these places. If that fits into your budget because there are many temples and other places in between along with the landscape which I am sure you don't want to miss out.
