Following are the places to visit in Hampi if you only have 2 days to explore: 1. Elephant Stables in Hampi 2. Hazara Rama Temple in Hampi 3. Vijaya Vittala Temple in Hampi 4. Virupaksha Temple in Hampi If you are still left with time, you can choose to visit Hippie Island in Hampi.

The Best way to explore is via foot. First reach Virupaksha temple,There will be Narasimha temple , hemakunta view point , Badava linga , and Sasvekal ganesha , All will be within close proximity. Then start your journey through Nandi , which is opposite to Virupaksha temple , continue your journey to reach the stone chariot , then climb the Mathunga Hills for sunset Next day , Hire a Bicycle , go off to Queens bath , Hazarama temple , Markets of hampi , elephants stable , Lotus Mahal and then visit Hemakunta hills for sunset. Never miss the sunrise and sunset in hampi , Better to choose a good vantage point to witness this.

Won't be enough to cover hampi entirely but still you can give it a shot. Hampi is divided into two parts, temple side and hippie Island. Temple side takes one full day covering ruins, temple, site seeing followed by sunset at matanga hill. For next day you can go to hippie Island, experience sunrise at monkey temple, roam around ruins, check sanapur lake followed by sunset at sunset point. Would be hectic but doable.
