Hi There Yes, you'll require a Travel Pass if you Plan on Visiting Nanital. Below I've mentioned all the things that you need to take care of if you want a hassle Free trip to Nanital : 1. You'll have to register yourself on smart city web portal (http://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in/ ) prior to your travel. (You'll get approvals almost instantly) 2. You'll need a Covid-19 negative test report from ICMR Authorised Lab, which is not earlier than 72 hours. 3. If you don't have a Negative Covid Report then, you should have a minimum booking for 7 days in a hotel. You will have to stay within the premises of the same hotel for 7 days, post that you can visit the public places across state. Hope This Helps

Blogging for sure. But that may take time to generate money unless you're working with some site as content creator. So, for starters you can search places where they offer internships like many hostels, lodges so on.

I am a native of Nainital if you are in Nainital for 2 Nights and 3 days I would recommend you to stay a night in Nainital you can visit the famous Bhotia Market do not forget to try the Momos' they are super awesome a taxi booking can help you cover major attractions like snow view tiffin top....the next day you can plan to Pangot almost 16km from Nainital....here it could be more of relaxation and close to nature enjoying your leisure time...let me know what kind of a trip you are planning so that I can be more descriptive according to your need. for local food do try Anupam Restaurant they have recently added kumaoni cuisine to there menu. Apart from that I could also recommend you dining by the lake in Machaan the location is just awesome along with the food. Planning for a stay I would recommend you to explore options as there are many and then decide accordingly as it completely depends on your tastes and preferences let me know the details so that I can recommend you accordingly.

Here's a suggestion. try staying at naukuchiatal. it's a little away from nainital. but still undisturbed by the tourism hype and crowds.

Dalhousie as i recently visited the places but need to go through important formalities.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Where ever you go you have to spend half of the time doing formalities and taking precautionary measure, and also roads are really in bad condition accompanied by landslides.and most importantly you have to spend atleast 7days in quarentine after coming back from your trip. so it is advisable to take some time and visit in end of oct- Nov as weather condition will be pretty good by then. stay safe and keep sharing your travel ideas.🤗

For instance, Tirthan Valley which had hardly reported any COVID-19 cases uptil now has now been shut down after there had been a rise in the cases. The locals found it better to shut down the valley for tourism purposes and the result is now they are not even able to do their regular day to day work that fetched a small portion of whatever their income was. I would request you all to be considerate towards the mountains (if not the people) and postpone your visits till the situations are somewhat in control. If you are trying to support them, please feel free to buy their products online or doing online bookings for the future. Alot of our favourite homestays/cafes/hostels are selling homemade items and are offering combo packages for you to use. Please be a little sensitive.
