During the new year season goa will be crowded like hell ,and the cost of everything will be hiked however you will definately enjoy being in the darkness at the beaches.

Hi Ankit, I was in South Goa last year for new year. From the pictures I saw of North Goa, South Goa had a very less percentage of tourists. The celebration and parties are not as bug as North either. There are some beach stays, AirBnB and homestays where you can maintain social distancing. Take a look at those.

Hi Aditya, I could not find any information on homestay in Rishikesh but here are some budget hotels you can take a look at. Despite the fact that budget travellers are restricted by finances, they are free to experience the city like a local. From eating at local restaurants and staying at family-run homestays – budget travellers experience the best of Rishikesh tourism. If you are a budget traveller planning a trip to Rishikesh, here are a few budget hotels: Rudram Hotel and Retreat Swiss Cottage and Spa by Salvus 60’s Green Hills Divine Ganga Cottage Rishikesh Valley Hope this helps.

Hi Aditya Apart from homestay, you could also check Vanprastha Ashram. Very clean and organised. Had stayed for a week for Rs 400 per night in a private double bedded room where there is a kitchen, a fridge and a geyser. The ashram is located at Janki Jhula. Thanks!

Hi sidhi..if u traveling solo..you can choose hostel..they are safe and clean..

Look for good hostels such as zostel, hosteller, gostops etc. they mostly clean room on daily basis.

Hi Archit, Hostels nowadays are taking extra care of hygiene due to Covid restrictions. That being said, it's always good to read reviews about a hostel before booking to ensure a pleasant experience. A personal recommendation: Always carry your on bath supplies/toiletries when staying in a hostel as a precaution. Mumbai offers various options: Urbanpod: India's first Pod Hostel (https://www.tripoto.com/mumbai/trips/a-stay-at-urbanpod-india-s-first-pod-hostel-at-mumbai-59d387e206080) Bombay Backpackers Horn Ok Please Hostel: https://www.tripoto.com/mumbai/trips/horn-ok-please-hostel Basti Backpackers Villa You can find more hostels in Mumbai here: https://www.tripoto.com/hotels?checkin=2021-10-23&checkout=2021-10-24&guests=1&location_name=Mumbai&hotel_type=Hostel%2CHomestay&counts=hotels&range=0%2C20000&order_type=rating&order_by=desc&embed=collections
