Although the climate is ideal during winters in Goa, the costs for hotel stays, food and travel triples during this season. I'd suggest you make your bookings well in advance and enjoy you winter trip to Goa. Its amazing there, esp on New Year's eve.

Anytime is good to visit Goa. December is one of the best but most expensive time of the year to vacation in Goa. If you have a budget for that, and all set to visit Goa, have a great time.
