I went to Germany by Flixbus with a tiring journey of 15 hours. That too the bus was full so I had to sit only on one seat (Usually the upper section of Flixbus is empty for long routes so you can sit on two seats).
I dropped off at Bus Terminus in Frankfurt. From there I walked towards train station, I freshened up at public toilet and started my siteseen.
If you are a backpacker, don't waste your time in check in to hostels because generally they aloot your bed after 12-1 PM. Freshen up at public toilets, eat something healthy and book a walking tour. This gives you a basic idea about the city and it is free (I mean its on you how much tip you want to give).
That walking tour took me to all the places around train station till the river front. I also saw the famous Euro Sign at Willy-Platz.
From there I went to market and then to River Front. That is the end of Walking tour. From there you can walk around or go to your hostel, rest for sometime and come back to city for nightlife.
See the detailed tour and my day 1 experience in Youtube Video. Link is mentioned at top.
