Overview

Bondla is one of the best birding locations in Goa and is on the list of every birder that visits the state for birding. With its moist deciduous and relatively open forest, one gets a good opportunity to see and photograph many of the species that this forest provides shelter to. This forest also has many of the species endemic to the Western Ghats. On any given day one gets to see about 50 species of birds on an average. The walk is along a tar road and doesn't involve any trekking so it is ideal for folks of any age.

Itinerary
  • The tour starts from the entrance of Bondla wildlife sanctuary. Since early morning is the best time for birding you will need to reach the location by 7:00 am
  • Here we will spend some time birding outside the sanctuary since the sanctuary gate opens at 9:00 am
  • After having breakfast at a local hotel, we will proceed to the interior parts of the sanctuary
  • We will be intermittently walking and driving listening to calls and stopping at different locations so that we get a good variety of birds
  • It will go on till 11.00 am after which you can return to your hotel

25% of the total amount will be retained if cancellation is more than 3 days before the tour date

50% of the total amount will be retained if cancellation is more than 2 days before the tour date

No refund for cancellations less than 2 days before the tour date
