Overview

The Chanshal Pass, or Chanshal Valley, links Dodra Kwar and Rohru (Chirgaon) in the Shimla district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The pass sits atop Chanshal Peak, which at 4,520 metres (14,830 ft) is the highest peak in the Shimla district. The pass remains open from May to October and is covered with snow for the rest of the year.

Itinerary
  • Pick up Shimla & Drive to Narkanda(65 kms, 2-3 Hrs)
  • Today Morning you will be arrive at Shimla Bus Stand our taxi will pick up you from bus stand and drive to Narkanda.
  • Check-in to hotel & later drive to Hatu Peak. The Hatu Peak is one of the highest peak in the Shimla district, located in Narkanda. Surrounded by majestic mountains and covered in a dense green blanket of sky touching cedar and fir, Hatu Peak may just be paradise on earth. In the middle of the peak the beautiful temple is situated. The temple is dedicated to Mandodari, the wife of King Ravana. Later Drive to Thana Dhar. Visit Tannu Jubbar Lake, It is a beautiful lake situated in Thana Dhar. This lake encircled with trees all around is an ideal picnic spot and to spend some relaxed time with the mountain watching over. Also visit Stokes Farm,Sometime in history, a man called Satyanand Stokes brought the cultivation of apple to Narkanda and in the process the town's economy to life. Today the area is known for these enthralling apple orchards and a walk through these is one of the most fascinating and enjoyable experiences the town has to offer. You might also find grandsons of Satyanand Stokes here experimenting with new varieties.
  • Later come back to Narkanda and visit Local Market and you can do little walk toward Ski Slope (No Snow will find in Summer).
  • Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.
  • Meal: Dinner Only
  • Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Larot.
  • Today drive is little bit long but you can see beautiful view of Mountain and Pabbar Valley.
  • Evening Check-in at Guest house. Dinner & overnight stay at Guest house.
  • Meal: Breakfast & Dinner.
  • Larot Local Sightseeing Today morning after breakfast take little drive to Shiladesh Village. Go for short village walk and visit local Deity Temple called Sandar Bharedi Naag Mandir.
  • You can go visit largest Deodar Tree near Shalather Village but you have to go for little walk. Later come back to Guest house for Lunch. After Lunch check-out your guest house and drive to Larot.
  • En route visit Chanshal Pass. The Chanshal Pass, or Chanshal Valley, links Dodra Kwar and Rohru in the Shimla district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The pass sits atop Chanshal Peak, which at 3,755 metres is the highest Motorable in the Shimla district.
  • After some halt at Chanshal Pass drive back to Larot.
  • Dinner & overnight stay at Larot Guest House.
  • Meal- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
  • After breakfast check out home stay and drive to Rohru. En route visit Trout Fish Farm at Dhamwari. Rohru is a town and a municipal committee in Shimla district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is at the banks of the Pabbar River. Rohru is famous for its apples and trout fishing.
  • Later Drive to Shimla, En route proceed to Kufri Sightseeing. Visit Kufri Zoo, Chini Bangla, Adventure Park, Charabra Valley and Hansan Valley.
  • Check-in at Hotel. Dinner & Overnight Stay at Hotel.
  • Meal: Breakfast & Dinner.
  • After breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Shimla Sightseeing. Visit Advance Study, Army Heritage Museum, Jakhu Temple, The Mall, The Ridge, Christ Church, Scandal Point, Lower Bazaar, Kali Bari Temple, Lakkar Bazaar and Gaiety Theatre.
  • Evening Driver will drop you at ISBT Shimla. Take Volvo bus to Delhi.
  • Meal: Breakfast Only
