How to Reach Chirsar Lake

To reach Chirsar, you must embark on a challenging but rewarding trek of 24 km from Halan Kulgam, gaining an altitude of 1,300 m. You have to drive to Hallan, Manzgam, where the trail begins.

The trail passes through Junction Alasmad, Chiranbal, and Kadalbal, where you can find some local shops to stock up on snacks. You have to be careful while crossing the slippery snow and rocks that line the lake's eastern shore in the winter.
