Itinerary
  • Welcome to your Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via helicopter (Ex-Lucknow) tour
  • On arrival, get a transfer from the airport/railway station in Lucknow to the hotel in Nepalgunj
  • Note: Reach Lucknow on or before 13:00 hours
  • Overnight stay in Nepalgunj
  • Meals: lunch and dinner
  • This morning, drive to the airport to board your flight to Simikot (3000 mts)
  • Flight: 45 mins
  • On arrival in Simikot, proceed to your hotel
  • Post lunch, proceed to hike to the Shiva Mandir and get acclimatised to high altitude
  • The rest of the day is at leisure
  • Overnight stay in Simikot
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • This morning, check out and drive to the airport to board the helicopter from Simikot for a 15-minute ride to Hilsa (3705 m)
  • Complete the Nepal side immigration formalities i.e. to put an exit stamp on your passport and proceed to Hilsa
  • On reaching Hilsa, cross the bridge and enter the China side to reach the Sher Village and complete the Chinese immigration formalities
  • Post formalities, drive to Taklakot (4,025 m/30 km/approx.1 hour drive)
  • Check-in to the hotel
  • The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities
  • Overnight stay in Purang
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • After breakfast, proceed to Lake Mansarovar (4500 meters/approx. 3 hours drive) to get the first view of the holy Mt. Kailash and the beautiful lake
  • On arrival at Lake Mansarovar, do the Parikrama, perform puja and take a holy dip in the lake
  • Later, proceed to the guest house and check-in
  • The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities
  • Overnight stay in the Mansarovar

  • Mansarovar - Darchen
  • Take the holy bath and perform Puja at Mansarovar in the morning
  • After breakfast, drive to visit Chiu Gompa

  • Darchen - Yam Dwar - (trek to Dirapuk (4750 mts)
  • This morning, leave for Tarboch Flag Pole the first prostration point, an auspicious gateway and the sky burial ground
  • Then, visit Yam Dwar (4675 m) and a further visit to Sershong (8 km)
  • Start the trek to Diraphuk (4765 m/walk 3-4 hours)
  • Overnight stay in Diraphuk
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Dirapuk - Zuthulphuk
  • Today's trek is amongst the toughest trek of the entire Mt. Kailash Parikrama which includes a steep climb up to Dolma La Pass
  • It is not only the highest altitude that makes the trek difficult but also the weather could change at any moment
  • One gets a very fine and marvellous view of Gaurikund down the pass
  • Offer prayers, relax and later, proceed to the guesthouse in Zuthulphuk
  • The rest of the evening is at leisure to relax and unwind

  • Zuthulphuk - Darchen - Purang
  • This morning, the parikrama ends near Darchen (4664 m, 14 km, 3-4 hours )
  • Drive to Purang (150 km)

  • Purang - Hilsa - Simikot
  • Today, check out and drive to the airport in Hilsa to board the helicopter to Simikot

  • Simikot - Nepalgunj
  • After breakfast, proceed to the airport in Simikot to board the flight to Nepalgunj

As per new rules, booking should be done 45 days in advance.4

It is mandatory to carry a valid passport - validity 6 months before the travel date and two copies of passport size photograph.

The hotel confirmed will be as per the brochure or an alternate hotel of similar category.

The itinerary is subject to change due to unavoidable circumstances and the extra cost incurred has to be paid by the clients.

All sightseeing’s subject to weather and political conditions at the destination.

Private vehicles are not allowed from Mansarovar to Kailash. Yatri will be escorted by the eco- buses only.

Please carry woollen gloves, sun hat, thermal wear, water bottle, woollen socks, towel, light jacket, sunglasses, sun cream, torch with extra batteries/bulbs, muffler, mask, raincoat, sweater, shirt/t-shirt and trekking shoes.

Indian currency notes of Rs. 2,000, Rs. 500 and Rs. 200 denominations are banned in Nepal.

Clear scan copy of national passport with validity of 06 months beyond the date of return to India. (original to be submitted 25 days prior to travel. (mandatory)
