Day 1:

We travelled from Goa through the Karwar-Sirsi Route. By 4 am, we departed Goa. Because Ratna Sagar Restaurant opens at 6.30 in the morning, we just had tea there when we arrived in Karwar at 6 am. We arrived in Sirsi at 8am and had breakfast at hotel Madhuvana, where they serve the tastiest masala dosa. Around 8.45am, we began our trip.

Without stopping, we went past Davangere and arrived close to Chitradurga. As soon as you get close to Chitradurga, the scenery starts to change; there are several windmills lining the sides, making for a stunning picture from the highway. We arrived in TBegur at 12.30 pm and had lunch at Paakashala. We came to this eatery because of its reputation. It is beside a highway and is far superior to typical highway eateries. We ate South Indian Thali it was scrumptious. Their restrooms are spotless and organized.

Although it is only 31 kilometres from Nelamangala to Bengaluru, the traffic was horrendous when we recommenced our drive at 2pm. As a result, we arrived in Le Foliage by TGI Bengaluru at 4 pm.

Review about the Hotel Le Foliage by TGI

The rooms are tidy and spotless. Washroom was clean and well organized. Apart from that, there isn’t much to like about this hotel. When we inquired about parking prior to booking, they informed us that there is a valet, but they parked the car on a busy main road. When we requested to park our car in front of the hotel at night because there was space, they made a lot of fuss before doing so. The following day, they instructed us to move the car since there was a function and hotel required parking for guests in attendance. As if the visitors who pay for the lodging are not significant.

Another issue is restaurants. We reserved a room with breakfast included, but the restaurant service is quite slow in the morning. There were idlis but no chutney, bhaji but no poori, and everything was haphazardly organized. The waiters were fighting and eating before serving the customers on top of all of that. As the restaurant has tavern, only at night fast service is available. They provide significantly nicer cuisine at night than in the morning.

Room rent per day 5100INR approx for 3 people including breakfast

We rested for a few hours before going to BLR Brewing for dinner. We chose this restaurant based on its reputation on Instagram, and we quickly realized that you should never trust any Instagram posts when you are hungry and looking for food.

Review about the BLR Brewing Co – JP Nagar

It was a terrible experience. Poor ambiance, we had to wait 15 minutes before placing our order, and the food was mediocre. We are not sure what made these Instagram users post such glowing reviews about this restaurant. Visitation is pointless.

Day 2:

Review about Buffet breakfast @Bramble, Le Foliage

We booked a room that included breakfast since we were staying at Le Foliage. Sincerity be damned, the morning is the worst time for service. Since the morning rush is too slow, they don't even clean the restaurant after the night party. In general, the food is fairly delicious, and the nighttime service is top notch. But they don't give a damn about the people staying at the hotel. Party-goers are the only ones who gain from it.

We went for breakfast at roughly 8:30, and the picture shows that the chafing dish was empty.

We visited practically all of Bangalore's well-known street markets to shop. Details about shopping in the following article.

Ikea Restaurant:

The allegedly Swedish eatery is actually unsanitary. I found it unhygienic since consumers had to serve themselves after someone had already touched the food and left the food counter doors open. Although the food was tasty, the cappuccino was not at all hot.

Following a day of intense shopping, we slept for an hour at the hotel before heading to the Hammer Resto Pub for supper.

Review about the Hammer Resto Pub

The cuisine, the service, and the atmosphere are all excellent at this pub. The sitting arrangement on the high chairs was really appealing. The food was excellent, and the music wasn't too loud.

Day 4:

At 6 in the morning, we left Bangalore for Mysore, reached Mysore at around 10am due to a blockage at the toll plaza.

Breakfast @Shivalli Restaurant

This delectable dosa is not offered by any other restaurants. The South Indian food hunger is sated by it.

Toured the Mysore Zoo

Falling in love at first sight is arguably the most thrilling and lovely experience there is. That is exactly what happened to us as soon as we reached the Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gradens in Mysore after passing through the security gate. I adore animals and take advantage of any opportunity to visit a national park or zoo so I may see them. Thankfully, this national park and zoo is a site that we will frequent frequently.

We restarted our journey and arrived in Shivamogga at around 4 pm. Ate a snack at the Hotel Ashoka Grand .
