Day 1

- Drive for Day-1: 240 km, ~5:30 hours

=> Markonahalli Dam: 9am–5:30pm, quiet and lush green surroundings, nice lake and dam view, perfect picnic place

=> Shri Panchakuta Digambar Jain Temple, Kambadahalli: 9th century jain temple, very nice architecture

=> Mavanuru Shri Bettada Malleshwara Gudi: time - 9:30am–6:30pm, temple is on hill top and hill is surrounded by many wind mills. Windmills are very near. You can hear the sound of windmills. Perfect place to click pics with windmills in the background.

=> Shanthigrama: below temples built by Hoysala queen in 12th Century:

(1) Ancient Shri Lakshmi Varadha Yoga Bhoga Narasimha Swamy Devasthana: 7am–1pm, 5–6:30pm

(2) Ancient Shri Keshavaswamy Temple: 7am–1pm, 5–6:30pm

=> Tom bridge view point doddgenigere: very nice offbeat location to enjoy sunset

=> Hasanamba Temple, Hassan: 6am-1pm & 3pm-10:30pm, there are 2 temples - Amba mata temple and Shiva temple. Shiva temple is open throughout the year while Amba mata temple is open for ~10 days during Dussehra. Temple built in 12th Century.

=> Night stay at Hassan: Hotel Raama

- Drive for Day-2: 160 km, ~4:30 hours

=> Ancient Hoysala Shri Doddagaddavalli Lakshmi Devi Temple: 9:30am–6:30pm, 12th century Hoysala temple

=> Kodige Falls: approach road is muddy but worth visiting

=> Rani Jhari Edge Point: walk for 300 meters, forest entry fees, need to hire a jeep for last 4 km, Rs. 1000 for jeep, 1 hour

=> Kalasa Hanging bridge & Vasishta Theertha: Very scenic and beautiful place

=> Sri Kalaseshwara Swaami Temple: as per the Skanda Purana, the Kalasa is considered the Dakshina Kaashi. Sage Agasthya established this temple.

=> Kamath Icecream: enjoy gudbud icecream, sizzler browney, falooda, sandwiches etc. Lovely place to have icecreams.

=> Adishakthyathmaka Sri Annapoorneshwari Temple, Shri Kshetra, Horanadu: Parvati mata appeared as Annapurneshwari and distributed food to all. Sage Agasthya established this temple.

=> Night stay at Nagagiri Comforts: very nice river side resort, service is very good.

Day 3

- Drive for Day-3: 190 km, ~5 hours

=> Soormane Falls: must visit falls, park your car at forest check post and hire a jeep for 2 km, Rs. 650 per jeep, very scenic place and lovely waterfall. A perfect picnic place too. Loved this place very much.

=> Kudremukh National Park:

(1) Bhadra River Lakya confluence point: visible from a bridge, nice view

(2) Kadambi Waterfalls: visible from a bridge. Falls is small but main attraction was - Monkey standing on 2 legs and expecting food.

(3) Hanumana Gundi (Soothanabbi) Falls: This is also very nice waterfalls. 250 steps to go down. Route is lush green. Lovely place.

=> Netravathi River Dam: Famous for holy dip near Dharmasthala

=> Have darshana at Dharmasthala temples if time permits

=> Do NOT MISS Fulzar Soda - unique soda sold on roadside shops on a way from Dharmasthala to Subramanya

=> Sowthadka Shri Mahaganapati Temple: 7am - 7pm, an open field without a Garbha gudi and temple structure as per god's wish

=> Night stay at Subramanya: Mahamaya Residency

Day 4

- Drive for Day-4: 300 km, ~7:30 hours

=> Thondanoor: Have darshana in below temples:

- Ancient Hoysala Shri Parthasarathi (Gopalakrishna) Swamy Temple(9am-1pm,3pm-5pm): believed to be established by Yudhishthira after Mahabharat war

- Sri Nambinarayana Swami Gudi (10am–1pm,3–5pm)

- Ancient Shri Yoganarasimha Swamy Temple(10am–11.30am,4pm-4.45pm)

- Ancient Shri Srinivasa Swamy Temple

- Sri Ramanuja Statue: pass through road next to this statue and go up the hill, it is a very nice view point

- Kere Thondanur and dam

=> Krishnadevaraya Falls: water falls on road, car can pass through falls after good rain

=> Kalenahalli Tunnel Entrance

=> Hatti Organic Farm, Jaggery park - VCFarm: visit jaggery factory on a way, enjoy jaggery production process and buy fresh jaggery

=> For natural jaggery, you can visit Karasawadi village

=> Return to Bangalore
