Sikkim, a place with such a mesmerizing view and culture and food to die for. Its a must visit place for everyone. It consists of 4 district I.e. North Sikkim, South Sikkim, West Sikkim and East Sikkim.
Day one I.E. 7th of November 2019, I reached Gangtok from BJP station. It took around 4 and a half hours to reach Deorali Stand and a taxi of 15 mins to reach my hotel frm deorali stand( the taxi cost around 300 to 250 rs).
Later in the evening I visited the famous MG Marg, a must visit location if u visit Sikkim.
This is how I spent my 1st day .
In the 2nd day I had an early breakfast and booked a cab for Nathula Pass, Changu Lake and Baba Mandir. These are the East Sikkim beauties. It will cost u around around 6000 to 7000 for these three places( only the cab fare).
I left around 9 AM in the morning and returned by 6 PM in the evening. It was a long tiring journey, but worth every penny. The mesmerizing view will make u so pumped up tar u will frgt tat u travelled about 4 hours in a bad road. In the evening I again came to MG Marg to enjoy a live singing in the streets.
3rd day I left for Both Sikkim at 10 AM in the morning and it took me 7 hours to reach Lachen l, a small village in North Sikkim. But the on way sightseeing was amazing with some tremendous waterfalls to make it even better. This day nothing much to do... Just on the way sightseeing and after I reached I had my dinner and slept coz next day was a blaster.
This day at 5 AM I started for Gurudombar Lake which is 5hours from Lachen. So mesmerizing that u will remain stunned. Just imagine a lake with water and cover with snow on one side and barren land on the other side.
So mesmerizing it is to die for.
Than I returned to Lachen and after lunch I started for Lachung.
I reached Lachung around 6 in the evening and slept for the night.
Next day I left for Yhumthang Valley from Lachung, approx 3 hours drive from Lachung. There I had my breakfast and borrowed some snow boots and left for Zero Point. Another 1 hour drive and you will reach Zero Point. This is the best place to visit amongst the Sikkim provinces, a stream passing by snow capped mountains where u can play with snow.
I returned back to Gangtok this day around 7 PM.
So tired that I instantly dropped off to sleep.
This day I left for local sightseeing and some shopping in MG Marg and Lal Bazaar. And had some local foods. The 'Raisaag and chicken' is to die for.. And dont froget a bite of Momo and phaley and phaley.
A spent entire day in MG Marg getting to knw new ppl. And than back to hotel around 8 PM and went back to sleep.
This day I left for my flight and was back to my home. Nothing can be done in the last day becoz u need to leave fast for ur flight or train.
