Devrani jhethani temple is an articulate heritage of Indian history and its Rudra shiv idol stimulates its glory throughout the world. Devrani Jethani temple is situated in Tala village , on the banks of maniyari river. Devrani Jethani temples are the remains of ancient mythologies. It was discovered 1873-1874 by J.D. Welger who was assistant of Alexander Cunningham. Historians claim that these temples dates back to 7 to 8th century and was constructed by Sharabhpuri kings. Several anecdotes are prevalent in locals like these two temples belonged to wives of two Sharabhpurian kings and they are named after them.

After the later excavations of temples many archaeologists did vast research about the ruins various idols, architecture and kingdoms. These temples were constructed in Nagar style of ancient architecture with sikharas. The temple is ramshackle but pillars, carvings and sculptors are illustrations of incredible antiquity. Tala gaon got its world prevalence in 1987 when astonishing Rudra shiv idol was excavated. Historians claim it to be Pashupati shiv as the idol is adorned with several animals in his body. This unique idol is seven feet long and weighs up to 6 tons, made up of red sandstone. Its body parts are adorned with 11 different animals like nose made up of lizards, moustache like fish, chin like crab, ear like peacock and shoulders of scorpion. This place is colossal of antiquity and great Indian heritage.
