A Night Camping in the Lap of Nature- Kurungwadi 

It was first time i was going for a Night Camping and was always in list. This was planned by a friend who is a tour Planner and she takes people to various Travel Expeditions.

So it was for one night and included the Evening Snacks, Dinner and Breakfast for the next morning.

i was in for this and there were 15 more people who joined this Night Camping in the lap of Nature. It was in Kurungwadi which is near to Igatpuri.

How to reach there

Though i went by my car from mumbai and there were 2 more people accompanying me in that.

By local train (From Mumbai)

you can take kasara local and get down to atgaon station and fro mthere you can hire a jeep to reach to the location which isk in kurungwadi village which is know to all the jeep drivers.

By Road From Mumbai

You can take the mumbai nashik highway and after crossing the kasara ghat take a right turn for the same to reach at kurungwadi village.

It is situated on a small pond which is man made and has a beautiful location.

lot of people come to this place for the camping and there is a fix camp for people who likes to experience the night camping in this area.

Weather

Weather is pleasant in feb but in night temperature drops and it becomes cold. So carry warm clothes for night.

After Reaching there we had snacks and tea and started some games play in that area. Also there is a boating experience which we took and kayaking in that pond. it was good experience to ride a pedal boat and also kayaking.

By the evening all the participants joined and we had a round of introduction to break the ice and after that we started talking and discussing.

Organizers had setup bonfire for the night and also barbeque for grilling the snacks for the evening. We played drum and played the songs and danced on that.

After all the fun we had our dinner. The dinner was prepared by the villagers and one NGO Supports them which i foiund very interesting. Dinner was veg and Non veg and was a wonderful and tasty one. The dinner had all the veg and nonveg dishes with the salad, papad, curd sweet and other side which is required for a proper dinner.

The food was really tasty and we could actualy feel that smoky aroma in food. The food was to die for i must say.

After the dinner we had a dance session again and after some time slept as we had to wake up early in the morning to experience the sunrise which was also on the list during thisk night camping.

We woke up early in the morning and watched the sunriuse and captured it in our cameras.

After that we had a nice breakfast which was again served by the people of village and they made poha in the breakfast with the hot cup of tea.

Overall it was a wonderful experikence spending one night in the camping under the stars, made few good new friends and enjoyed with some aquaintances.
