Yesterday we explored the area around Mahabaleshwar and reached at Koyna River (17°46'16.4"N 73°43'19.9"E) for our next kayaking session. This village is called Tapola. The whole area is a part of wild life sanctuary and a perfect getaway for your next weekend.
To reach here you drive through dense forest area and enjoy the aerial view of river from uphill. There are plenty of stay options available right on the banks of river. If you are a watersports enthusiast, Be it boating, water scooter rides, kayaking or swimming then Tapola is the place to head to.
