Come to a different world as you arrive at the well hidden secret of Manali. Hike amongst the high mountains clad in snow and explore the tiny and charming village of Soil. Said to be the oldest village of the Kullu valley, set besides a chilly glacial stream renowned for its trout. Check out the detailed itinerary below for more information.

Itinerary
  • The guests will be received by our support team in Patlikuhal and reach 'dA Base - Mountaineerz' in Haripur
  • After refreshments, get on the golden meadow trail
  • Enjoy this wonderland of green and vivid colors as we begin our hike on the trail to the ‘Kkoott’
  • After a short, pleasant and invigorating hike, we will reach the end of the trail at the ‘Kkoott’, where freshly cooked lunch awaits
  • The heritage home is in the middle of the forest, amidst an apple and plum orchard next to a glacial stream, renowned for trout fishing. Lie in a hammock and chill with a book to give you company
  • In the evening we will go angling in the glacial stream, which is flowing right next to our Orchard and is famous for its wild trout
  • Chill overnight in the wilderness and enjoy some unadulterated peace and quiet, even if it is for a night. Enjoy freshly cooked vegetarian meal and collect firewood
  • Chill around a bonfire and BBQ before retiring for the night. We will stay in a picture perfect beautiful solitary village cottage
  • Note: In winters, the stay is in a picture perfect beautiful solitary village cottage that is the Himalayan Jungle Lodge. During summers, clients have the option of camping in comfortable tents in the orchard.
  • Wake up to the charming morning life of a village set in a thick jungle if you are camping at Kkoott
  • An early morning walk in this mesmerizing places will certainly make you contemplate the presence of a higher power
  • After a leisurely breakfast, we will start our hike back to civilisation. Refresh after reaching the base.
  • Later participants will be driven to the ancient capital of Kullu, Naggar. Visit Roerich art gallery, Naggar castle, the Himachali architecture of temples and houses
  • Lunch at a nice restaurant at own cost. Then, by 5 pm, guests will be dropped to Patlikuhal for their onward journey to Delhi/Chandigarh
  • Optional: Once in Naggar, those looking for some adrenaline rush must try the highest zip-line in India. Time to soar the winds and fly high. Go for an absolutely safe high flying experience with our professional pilots. (extra cost, choose from add-ons)
  • You can also go on an exploration of Manali town. We’ll be happy to provide a guide and vehicle on prior request (cost as applicable)
  • Later board the bus from the Manali bus stand bus stand

Exclusions
  • Any bus or air tickets
  • Any expenses of purely personal nature like laundry, phone/fax calls, tips to drivers, guides, any beverages
  • Any expenses that arise due to change in itinerary and increase in number of days because forces like landslides, weather, roadblocks, flight cancellations, sickness etc
  • Cost of any optional activity - paragliding or rafting etc.

All programs are subject to change due to political reason, natural calamities, serious sickness, and special reasons.

Please note that cancellation charges also apply to reductions in group size, not only for cancellations of entire bookings.

The tour will not be cancelled unless we are forced to do so because of unusual or unforeseen circumstances, such as a major natural disaster, major political unrest or war. If we cancel the tour we will promptly refund all payments made to us including the deposit (less the unrecoverable costs such as air tickets cancellations). We shall not be liable to refund any additional expenses that you may have incurred (such as insurance, visas, vaccinations and other incidental costs).

If you do not show up at the meeting point specified on the agreed date, we will assume you have been delayed and will wait for you to contact us with your new expected arrival date. If you do not contact us within 48 hours we will assume you have cancelled the tour. There is no refund of any money paid.

10% to be paid at the time of booking and 90% one month prior to departure

We understand life can be unpredictable at times, and that plans can change, that’s why we are pretty flexible about cancellations

For last minute emergencies we offer future trip credits on a case by case basis. Please talk to us before you cancel any trip with us

From confirmation up to 30 days prior to departure: 10% of the total amount payable would be charged

Between 15 - 29 days: 50% would be refunded

Less than 15 days prior to departure: 100% would be charged

In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases we will try our best to provide an alternate feasible activity

However, no refund will be provided for the same
