GuideStart from Shilllong or Guwahati and head out for a day of Kayaking at Shillong White Water Village. With deep forest cover on one side and lush tea gardens on the other, the silent souls can experience quaint serenity of nature here. In contrast to this, the famous Umtrew river running along White Water Village offers class 2-4 kayaking rapids for the adventurous souls. We also provide coaching facilities for beginners to learn balance, manoeuvring and paddling in the still water pool. After a day of Kayaking and trek to tea garden guests will be treated to a bonfire and delicious food at night. Check out the detailed itinerary below for more information.
- Freedom Camping
- Guests will be picked up at 9:00 am from the designated pick up point in Shillong or Guwahati
- Gear up for a day in Umtrew river for a day of kayaking
- A coach will be provided for beginners to learn balance, manoeuvring and paddling in the still water pool
- While the experienced Kayakers can hit the river to tackle class 2-4 rapids
- Later in the evening, bonfire will be setup along the river to experience quaint serenity of nature
- Next morning, guests will bid farewell to Umtrew River
- You will dropped off at their origin point
- Transportation - we will provide you with our over-landing vehicles for a round trip starting and ending in Guwahati
- Tents, sleeping bags, and camping gears
- Activities such as kayaking, scuba diving as per the program
- Route planning and research
- Fuel and toll taxes
- All inner line permit for restricted areas
- Certified guide charges
- Campsites/homestay charges
- Driver/expedition leader
- First-aid kit
- Flight to the destination and transfers
- Food, drinks and other snacks
- Any activity apart from the mentioned ones
- Any cost arising out of unforeseen circumstances like damage accruing from land blocks, bad weather etc.
- Any medical expenses incurred during the trip or travel insurance
- Any charges for carrying a video camera or still camera
- Anything not mentioned in inclusions
In an extremely rare scenario, due to unforeseen incidents like natural calamities, road blocks the itinerary might be changed/modified depending on the situation.
Standard cleaning fees of INR 350 is applicable in case of intensive cleaning amount charged would be INR 1000.
Guests are liable for any unintentional/accidental damage.
Guest is subject to CampingCo’s fees policy being mentioned on our website. It entails the scenarios which covers all the fees including but not limited to rentals, late fees, late charges, extensions fees, penalties or fines, if any etc.
Free cancellation for 48 hours, as long as the guest cancels at least 14 days before check-in.
After that, guests can cancel up to 7 days before check-in and get a 50% refund of the nightly rate.
