How to Reach Pilibhit Tiger Reserve:
Delhi to Pilibhit tiger reserve distance is : 370kms around.
So if you are coming via your car or taxi so you can directly come here from Delhi or if you want to stay in the middle so Bareilly will be the best place to stay one night.

Bareilly to Pilibhit Tiger Reserve – 94kms around

My Experience:
I started my journey from Delhi and first I reached to Bareilly to meet my mosi.
Then we planned for Pilibhit Tiger Reserve Jeep Safari for the next day and we left the house next morning for Chuka Tiger Jeep Safari. We already knew that this range if full of tigers and bears hence we were having a hope to see tiger this time. Because we have also visited Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve Range many times but we were unable see any tiger there.
When we enter we saw a Big Belt of Water Body “Sharda River”. This river is full of crocodile. This Tiger range is nearby Nepal border so you can see big and beautiful beach inside this range called as “Chuka Beach”.
Animals we saw: Royal Bengal Tiger, Crocodile, Junglee Hen, Owl, multiple types of Deer, Python etc.
Best Time to visit:
I visited this place in May’22 hence it was too hot there but I will recommend to visit after rainy season so that you can enjoy the beauty of Chuka Beach and greenery here.

About Pilibhit Tiger Reserve:
The Pilibhit Tiger Reserve is positioned in the Pilibhit area and Shahjahanpur District of Uttar Pradesh, developing part of the Terai Arc Landscape, in the upper Gangetic Level Biogeographic District. Some river stemming from the reserve, which is also the catchment of a number of others like Sharda, Chuka as well as Mala, Khannot. The habitat is defined by Saal Forests, high meadows and also swamp kept by routine flooding from rivers. The Sharda Sagar Dam extending approximately a size of 22 km (14 mi) gets on the limit of the reserve. It lies along the India-Nepal border in the foothills of the Himalayas as well as the levels of the Terai in Uttar Pradesh. It becomes part of the Terai Arc Landscape. It is among India's 51 Task Tiger Reserve.
