2. Knesset Eliyahoo Synagogue- Established in 1884 by Jacob Sassoon, Knesset Eliyahoo, also known as the Blue Synagogue, is an Orthodox Jewish Synagogue which merges Jewish as well as British architectural styles.
This is one of Mumbai's oldest Jew temples. It was built in 1884 by Jacob Sassoon of the Mumbai Sassoon family, who also built the Sassoon Docks. Present in one of Mumbai's quietest lanes, this blue building has attractive architecture (both from outside and inside). Note- (Open on Sundays) they charge Rs 100 for photographers and Rs 150 for videographers to shoot here.
