National Rail Museum

National Rail Museum New Delhi is one of the major attractions of India's capital city. Very realistic miniatures and models of different kinds of Indian trains are available on the display at Rail Museum Delhi. A small toy train is also present at National Rail Museum New Delhi which gives kids an experience of travelling in the train. The space at National Rail Museum New Delhi is also given for corporate events and private parties. There is an auditorium inside which can accommodate 200 people. It is also available for booking on the website. Summer camps for kids are held at Rail Museum New Delhi annually. Besides that, exhibitions and vintage car rallies are also held by National Rail Museum. As a visit to National Rail Museum New Delhi can prove to be enlightening and educative, that's why, a lot of children are brought to the museum on school picnics.

National Rail Museum is a largest and oldest in the world.The Fairy Queen was built in 1855 and is the oldest working steam engine in the world. National Rail museum of Attractions: Historical Photographs, Signalling Static & Working Models,Equipments, antique furniture, Maharaja of Mysore’s Saloon, Prince of Wales Saloon,Fairy Queen, Fire Engine, etc.

National Rail Museum: This unique museum has a fascinating and exotic collection of over 100 real size exhibits of Indian Railways. Static and working models, signaling equipments, antique furnitures, historical photographs and related literature etc. are displayed in the museum. The line-up of old coaches includes the handsome Prince of Wales Saloon, built in 1875. Oh I loved this place! Came here after I saw this place in Ki and Ka trailer and I was like, okay I have to go here anyhow! and I made it! This is the place that gives you entire information on Indian Railways. Should you know the effort and you would stop littering in the Indian Railways! My respect for the IR just went above all levels of respect! Thank you IR!

This brilliant museum is situated at Chanakyapuri and bleeds the railway heritage of India. This 10 acre museum has outdoor as well as indoor exhibits featuring the Electric locomotive 4006 built in 1930, A Beyer Garratt 6594 Engine, a Patiala State Monorail System amongst endless others. The most unique and antique rail engines or locomotives can be found here. A true preservation of our world-renowned railway network, this museum displays railway artefacts along with historical pictures while offering a toy train ride and boat ride: a one-stop spot to gather all the history and pieces of information related to Indian railways.
