We almost reached on time (Lunch available till 3:30 PM) at the Nataraj Dining Hall and Restaurant (Highly Recommended). The moment we sat on the table, the attendants started pouring dishes into a large thali and we began gobbling up the delicious food. The buffet consisted of 10-12 items, from sweet to savoury, and a glass of lassi. Next thing, you know, we ate so much that we couldn't walk anymore and decided to take an auto and asked the driver to take us to the nearby places.

If you are partial to the beauty offered by nature more than man made wonders, you are sure to love Sajjan Garh. The palace is small but the views are stunning. The palace is not maintained well but the sunset view from here is awesome. The palace was constructed by Maha Rana Sajjan Singh in 1884. The aim of the king was to construct an observatory here to observe the arrival of monsoon as well as predict weather conditions. Owing to his untimely demise, the work was not completed. However, the views from here fascinate you beyond words. Nearly 1000 feet above the sea level, the views of Udaipur from here are breathtaking.

This is one of the newest restaurants on the block which started just a few years back. The idea is to bring out taste but along with health in the food they serve. The twist is that they recreated all the Indian dishes by using millets as the main constituent. Also, these millets used are gluten-free in nature, vegan and highly nutritious for the body. They also have a complete menu of juices made from organic vegetables and fruits. Apart from the food which is excellent, the view here also adds to the fun and experience. It is located near a lake as well as an old temple. You can also see monkeys and parrots all around. From the second floor, City Palace is also visible. Traditional seating however dominates the first floor whereas the second floor is a modern seating arrangement.
