Majestic views of cloud covered hills and grassy meadows, all of this can be found in the Western Ghats. Stretching throughout the Malabar Coast of India, the Western Ghats form a chain of hills and valleys with rich flora and fauna.
There are several ways you can explore these hidden gems such as visiting hill stations, experiencing nature camps, exploring remote lands through adventure activities, etc. And believe me, I have done it all. However, what fascinated me the most was the train journey I experienced through the heart of Western Ghats. A 55 km stretch comprising of 58 tunnels, 110 bridges, about 25 waterfalls and lush green views of majestic forests. The route starts at Sakleshpur and ends at Subramanya Road. Honestly, I the experience of experiencing nature through this route is beyond words. Therefore, I will allow the pictures to talk for itself...Enjoy
