Day-wise itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Paro; Transfer to Thimphu

• Arrive in Paro and get a transfer to your hotel in Thimphu, the modern capital city of Bhutan
• En route stop at Chuzom, the confluence of Thimphu and Paro rivers
• On arrival, check in to your hotel
• Spend the rest of the day at your leisure to explore the city

Day 2: Thimphu

• After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Thimphu
• Later, visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue, National Memorial Chorten and Folk heritage museum
• Later explore the oldest temple in Thimphu - the Changangkha Lhakhang
• In the evening, return to your hotel for the night

Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha

• Post breakfast, check out and get driven to the valleys of Punakha
• En route visit the Dochula Pass and Chimi Lhakhang Temple
• On arrival, check in to your hotel in Punakha and visit the majestic Punakha Dzong, a massive architectural edifice
• Spend the evening exploring Punakha on your own

Day 4: Punakha to Paro

• Post breakfast, check out from your hotel and get driven to Paro
• En route stop at Lamperi to visit the Royal Botanical Garden
• On arrival in Paro, check in to your hotel
• Later, head out to explore on your own
• In the evening, return to your hotel for the night

Day 5: Sightseeing in Paro

• Post breakfast, head out for a sightseeing tour
• Visit the Drukgyel Dzong, Ta Dzong, Rinpung Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang
• If you're interested, you can visit the famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest) at an additional cost
• Later return to your hotel for the night

Day 6: Departure 

• Post breakfast, check out from your hotel
• Get driven to the airport in Paro for your onward journey
