Itinerary
  • Paro airport to thimphu
  • Arrive in Paro Airport.
  • Head to Thimphu with the Bhutanese tour guide.
  • Check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
  • Begin the day with breakfast.
  • Visit Motithang Takin Preserve, named after the national animal of Bhutan, the Takin.
  • See Tashichhodzong, the seat of the government. This historic building, which has withstood the test of time, showcases the traditional Bhutanese architecture.
  • Head to BBS Tower which offers you the best photography opportunities for the day as this point commands panoramic vistas of the Thimphu city.
  • Go to Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park, which has one of the largest statues of Shakyamuni in the world – Buddha Dordenma.
  • Walk through the Folk Heritage Museum, which is housed in a 3-story building, exhibits a vast collection of old tools and household items used by the locals.
  • Shop at the National Handicrafts Emporium. Buy traditional hand-woven fabrics and other handicrafts, without having to worry about their originality.
  • Dinner and overnight at hotel.
  • Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass
  • Check out of the hotel after breakfast.
  • Head to Punakha via Dochula Pass with the Bhutanese tour guide.
  • Witness the union of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu Rivers.
  • Go the Chimi Lhakhang built by Ngawang Choegyel, the 14th Drukpa head in reverence to Drukpa Kunley.
  • Dinner and overnight at hotel.
  • Punakha to Paro valley
  • Check out of the hotel after breakfast.
  • Head to Paro Valley.
  • Spend moments of peace at the 7th-century Kyichu Lhakhang.
  • Visit Ta Dzong, home to the National Museum of Bhutan.
  • Explore the Drukgyel Dzong.
  • Dinner at Farm House and overnight at hotel.
  • Chele La Pass
  • Drive to the Chele La Pass after breakfast.
  • Witness the lush forests of pine and rhododendron on-route.
  • Feast on the sight of Mount Jomolhari and Jichu Drake upon arriving the Pass.
  • Return to Paro for a Hot Stone Bath.
  • Dinner at Farm House and overnight at a hotel.
  • Get dropped off at Paro Airport after breakfast.

Exclusions

  • Airline seats and hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of a similar standard.
  • All hotels used by us in Bhutan provide room heaters at an additional cost.
  • Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at the disposal.
  • A/C will be switched off during hill drives.
  • Service Tax shall be applicable over and above the package prices.
  • Any increase in the price charged by the company on account of change in the rate of taxes or imposition of new taxes by Government; these would have to be borne by the customer.
  • Expenses of personal nature such as laundry, wines, mineral water, food and drinks and other things not mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Departure from any other city, apart from those mentioned as departure hubs.
  • The surface transport/trainer flights for passengers joining these hubs from an.y other city is not included and will be borne by the customer.
  • Entry Fee: Tiger’s nest temple (Paro), Memorial Chorten (Thimphu).

It is mandatory for all guests to carry a valid Passport. No other photo ID’s are accepted. The passport should be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of completion of travel. Handwritten passports are not eligible as valid travel documents for travel to Bhutan.

Indian citizens do not need a visa to visit Bhutan.
