Itinerary
  • Arrive at Srinagar airport and around 2:00 pm we will transfer you to Sonmarg in a tempo traveller
  • Enjoy the majestic beauty of Sonmarg
  • Our Team will meet you in the evening so that we get to know each other and group formation and rules for the trip will be explained
  • Today will be the 1st day when we will start riding on the famous Srinagar-Leh highway, every riders dream
  • En route, we will be passing the mighty Zozi La which on any given day will test your riding skills
  • Pay homage to the valour of the Indian army at Kargil War Memorial at Drass Overnight stay at the hotel in Kargil
  • Lazily riding through the winding roads our caravan will witness many wonders of Srinagar-Leh Highway today
  • En route Srinagar-Leh highway seek blessings of Guru Nanak Dev at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, find the illusion of magnetic hill for yourself, witness the confluence of Indus and Zanskar
  • Also, check moonlike landscape at moonland near Lamayuru Monastery and see the huge statue of Buddha on the rock at Mulbekh monastery
  • Experience the culture of Ladakh by exploring the monasteries, Leh Bazaar, talking to locals and eating some local cuisine
  • Roaming around the city and nearby will help the nomads to get acclimatize with the weather and high altitude
  • Return to Leh city to witness the sunset from Shanti Stupa and amazing views of Leh city
  • Visit the highest motorable road in the world and Nubra Valley
  • The caravan moves ahead to what lies beyond and will reach Nubra Valley, another spectacle of nature
  • Desert, mountains, river all at the same place and this is what makes Nubra Valley so special
  • Nomads can get face to face with Bactrian camels, friends of the earliest nomads
  • We will seek the blessing of Maitreya Buddha at Diskit Gompa the oldest & largest gompa in Nubra Valley
  • Today, we will ride on the most remote route of the trip
  • With various water crossings, riding on dry riverbeds, smooth tarmac and roads which are virtually nonexistent it is going to be one epic riding day
  • All our tiredness will go away on the view of majestic Pangong Tso
  • Camping beside the lake with only basic necessities will be a lifetime experience
  • After having our breakfast we will bid adieu to this majestic lake and start our journey back to Leh base camp
  • Nomads will bid its final “Julley” to the land of Lama’s and move toward Sarchu the tent city as we call it
  • En route, the caravan will pass through Tangalang La, the second highest pass in the world and then passes through More Plains before reaching the tent city Sarchu
  • The destination today will be Manali one of the most beautiful hill stations in North India and a gateway for trekking, skiing, backpacking
  • En route, the nomads will ride through Bara Lacha La, Suraj Tal and Rohtang La
  • Back to green as Nomads will once again witness the vegetation on the mountain ranges
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel at 10:00 am
  • You can keep your luggage in the cloakroom
  • You will be transferred to Delhi via Volvo semi sleeper bus

We only provide a brief itinerary of the trip along with major halt points of the trip. All the detailed activities are told once guest arrive at the destination in order to build the excitement factor.

Please respect the Organiser's Decision throughout the event in-case of any uncertainties/change in Plan.

Riding through the mountains depends on the climatic conditions and if we hit any roadblock at any point then please wait for the organiser to make an alternative plan.

Apart from this, riding also depends on the likes and energy of the rider. If we observe any discomfort in terms of health with any of the participants then we will take the necessary steps and we request you to respect our decision.

Programs are basic and minimalist; do not expect city-like comfort, kindly set your mind to get adjusted with things being provided.

The locals, animals, birds have the right of 'way' and 'say' in our programs. We wish to respect their dignity to the fullest extent possible.

We all are very much meeting for the first time, so please maintain a friendly relationship with each and every one. Respect every individual, do not create your own small group based on region, profession, age etc. We have to enjoy as a group and as an individual.

Do not interfere in anyone's personal business and avoid any questions related.

We follow the 'leave no trace' and 'zero impact camping' practice'; do not litter on the trail, please carry back all the material garbage you generate during the program.

Ridesntreks and its organizers are not responsible for any accidents or injuries, loss or damage to you or your personal belongings or any other uncertainties including death during the event. The participants agree to take full responsibilities and sign a letter of the undertaking before the start of the event.

If you cancel 7 days before the date of the event: 90% refund will be provided

If you cancel 3-6 days before the date of the event: 50% of the actual amount of the trek will be refunded

If you cancel 48 hours before the date of the event: No refund would be provided

Last minute cancellations due to work, health issues etc. would not be entertained and no refund or transfer shall be allowed for the same

For all the above choices, you can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board and you could save your hard earned money
