It was our 6 days visit to Kerala. We started out trip from Kochi to Vagamon ,Vagamon and finally to Alleppey. In Alleppey we stayed for 3 Days and explored all the hidden gems of Kerala.
Day 1:We checked into our resort "Uday backwater Resort" in the afternoon. We enjoyed the luxuries resort and in the evening we tried some authentic Kerala food.
Day 2: We explored the beautiful backwater on a Shikara boat for 2 hours and it costed us Rs-2000 (1000 rs. per hour). Post which we went to some famous temples .In the evening we relished u some cakes and cookies at a local bakery .We hired a bike to explore the Alleppey.Bike rent : Rs 400 per day.
Day 3. We started early and traveled to Kottayam which is 1 hour drive from Alleppey. Here we witnessed mesmerising water lilies bloom.We also visited Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. In the evening we went to Alleppey beach and had a relaxing time.
