How to reach: Accessing Atitse Monastery involves a journey along a winding track not shown on most maps, leading into the hills north of Lamayuru. You can hire a local cab, take the Leh-Srinagar highway (NH-1D). It is located about 7 Kms uphill from Lamayuru village in the Leh district of Ladakh.
