While we are melting in this sweltering heat that has struck most parts of India, there's an 'Ice Cafe' in Ladakh that may become a haven for us this summer.
Located on the Manali-Leh highway, the ice structure was created by Border Road Organisation officials by following a natural process, as per reports.
The Ice-Cafe draws inspiration from Sonam Wangchuk's Ice Stupa project in Ladakh. While the cafe serves hot drinks and eatables inside, its primary purpose is to save water in winter and later use it for irrigation when the ice melts in spring.
