Unknown Island in the Adriatic Sea

The Adriatic Sea, the northern arm of the Mediterranean, is strung along the Croatian coastlines and has more than 1000 islands. So, while in Croatia, we decided to do island hopping for a day.

Initially, we planned to go to Hvar Island, the lavender capital of Europe. I fell in love with Hvar the moment I saw the pictures of hills covered with lavender fields on the backdrop of blue water on the internet. Alas! We couldn't visit it due to bad weather. Since it was supposed to be a full-day tour, we had no other plans for the day. So when the boat owner offered us to take to few smaller islands, we didn't waste a moment to decide.

We started at Split and hopped off many small islands nearby. We spent the whole day swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. None of these islands are as commercialized as Hvar. You will find mostly Croatians chilling and swimming. We enjoyed every bit of it.

Though I hope I could visit Hvar in the future, I did not regret my day exploring offbeat islands even a bit.
