Day 1

Due to the COVID virus outbreak I've been staying so much indoor these days and I'm spending a lot of time on Virtual Travelling, recalling old travel memoirs and posting the incidents on social Media.
Since it's the beautiful rainy season so it's high time to move out and search the lush green outskirts, waterfalls, flower valleys and the brimming rivers, ponds and the flocks of numerous types of birds to and fro.

Like yesterweek when I went to the place I have been fond of ever since my childhood, Indeed that was the shore of Sonar river which is commonly famous for its stunning beauty and tropical edges. Just by looking the river all the forgotten moments started cropping up into my mind as if something was on play just like a reel on rewind. Really, relishing the bygone time was quite a healing to my body and soul. I was so overwhelmed that I started telling my cousins that how my father used to take all four of us to show the brimming river in the rainy season; how the small kids of the Fisher man used to sail themselves recklessly on the tire-tubes; how the shanty down dwellers used to pick-up the sticks coming swiftly from the flow of the river and a huge crowd which was witnessed of my words. However, my stories were never-ending because they're endless then to I kept walking on the river-belt until I was done with the joy of revisiting the place I have cherished so well.

Anyways, that sunday was full of surprises to me because when we returned back home we were told that we were going on a small picnic near a place named Aafchand. So I guess that sunday was full of refreshments as we were going with the mood of nature.

Of course, it was a market lockdown day that's why no shops were opened all we had to do was to prepare everything at home. So, I had a quick plan, I and all my cousins prepared some DIY disposable paper bags,  glasses and plates. After packing all the essential stuff, we headed towards our  1st family picnic after the 4 months long lockdown.

Soon we reached on our destination which was just 15 km away from my hometown. Believe me as we reached there we were all dancing as everything was looking so new, fresh and untouched.
While walking we entered into the rocks caves which were heavenly beautiful, greenery all around, oh my god! What was that, a river in-between the rocks, omg! We were all spellbound to see something so beautiful deep down into the woods.

There was something in the place, something which was  enticing all the passers-by to visit it. And I, I was just satisfying my cravings of witnessing such an untouched beauty which was none other then the heart of the woods. feeling relaxed, composed and fully into the nature, I sank into my world of thoughts for a while which were broken by some sounds which was likely to be the bells of the some temple.
Oh yes, it was a temple, a temple of lord Hanuman. With lots of curiosity and enthusiasm we walked towards the temple which was set in between the rocks. The cave was a fully natural rock cave, no artificial construction, rather it was fully moist due to the presence of the hidden water, it was like a naturally air-conditioned place completely suitable place for mediation.
However, being curious I started looking at the surroundings where I found something really strange but very meaningful, the people who were the keepers of the temple, they used some plastic bags as a wishing thread so that they can get rid with the plastic and collect all at one place.
The enchantment of lord Ram and others were the part of jagaran in the cave temple, where people have the belief that if someone has any wish to fulfill then they can come and be a part of this holy satsang.

Watching such ancient beauty, I became a child to go into the depth of such scenic phenomenon so I step out of the caves following the downstream which took me towards a narrow path and after crossing some big stones and sort of hurdles I found and extremely attractive trails near the beautiful river.

Till then, our picnic turned into an excursion, We went and Explored the trail and enjoyed the place to the fullest...We had tasty snacks along with lots of Memories.
We followed all the Corona measures, used mask and sanitized everything which was in our contact. Also distribute some kits to the villagers as in this time even a small contribution is meant a lot to someone.
