Itinerary
  • Arrive in Istanbul
  • Meet with the driver and get a transfer to the hotel (early check-in is subject to availability)
  • At around 1300 hrs, meet the guide for a half-day boat trip on the Bosphorus River
  • Enjoy an amazing cruise between the two continents - Europe and Asia
  • The Rumeli Fortress (from the sea, no interior visit)
  • Cable Car and Pierre Loti Hill which was named after a famous french writer from where you will enjoy the magnificent scenery of Golden Horn and the city
  • Overnight stay at the hotel
  • Have breakfast at the hotel
  • Around 0800 hrs, meet with the guide
  • Visit Hippodrome, the scene of ancient chariot races and its four monuments- the German Fountain of Wilhelm II, the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine
  • Sultan Ahmet Imperial Mosque which is across from St. Sophia built in the 17th century by the architect Mehmet, which is known as the Blue Mosque because of its magnificent interior decoration using blue Iznik tiles
  • St. Sophia (closed on Mondays): This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great, in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century is one of the architectural marvels of all time
  • Grand Covered Bazaar (closed on Sundays): In this labyrinth of streets and passages, there are more than 4000 shops with each trade having its own area - the goldsmith`s street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as hand-painted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware
  • Have breakfast at the hotel
  • Get a transfer to the airport, fly to Kayseri
  • You will visit Devrent Valley where various types of fairy chimneys are abundant
  • We will walk through this amazing valley
  • Thereafter visit Pasabagi (Monk's Valley)
  • After visiting Pasabagi, drive to Avanos which is known for the pottery, a craft dating back to the Hittite period
  • The red clay used by the local craftsmen comes from the residue in the Kizilirmak river, the longest river of Turkey
  • Then, proceed to Goreme Open Air Museum (Dark Church is excluded because as entrance requires additional admission fee) to visit the churches and chapels
  • We will take photos in the neighbouring valleys
  • Enjoy hot and delicious breakfast at the hotel
  • Optional - Hot Air Balloon tour
  • Meet at the hotel lobby in the morning and visit Rose Valley, one of the most beautiful trekking valleys in Cappadocia and explore the famous rock-cut churches by hiking through the valley
  • Rest in Cavusin, an old Greek village, known for its Christian houses and churches
  • After having lunch, visit Ortahısar Castle, similar to Uchisar Castle where storage caves can also be observed
  • In the afternoon, visit Kaymakli (or Ozkonak) Underground City where early Christians lived in fear and faith
  • On the way back, visit the Panoramic Pigeon Valley, where pigeons contribute to the lives of locals with their manure to fertilize the vineyards
  • You may also like to taste Cappadocia wine in a local winery
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel
  • After breakfast at the hotel
  • Get a transfer to Kayseri Airport and fly to Izmir
  • On arrival, get a transfer to Kusadasi
  • Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel
  • After breakfast, head out for a full-day tour to Ephesus
  • Tour starts with Isa Bey Mosque that is one of the finest examples of Selcuk Architecture
  • Your guide will tell you all the details of its unique history
  • In the end, visit the Great Theatre where St. Paul preached
  • You will have free time for picture meeting
  • Enjoy an open buffet during lunch in a local Turkish restaurant
  • In the afternoon, we will go to visit the carpet cooperative to see how the Turkish carpets are made by hand
  • Will then, proceed to the shrine of Mother Mary where it is believed that she spent some years of her life
  • You will also visit the Temple Of Artemis (Diana) which was one of the seven wonders of the ancient World
  • Return to the hotel for the night
  • Have breakfast at the hotel
  • Get a transfer to the Izmir airport
  • Flyback home via Istanbul with lots of happy memories
