1. Booking Confirmation:
a. Tripoto requires a 20% payment upon booking confirmation.
b. The booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the specified payment.
2. Payment on Commencement of the Trek:
a. The remaining 80% of the total trek cost is payable at the commencement of the trek.
b. Failure to make this payment may result in the cancellation of the booking without a refund.
3. Refund Policy: Tripoto operates on a strict no-refund policy after the trekker joins a trek ( Reaches the Road Head and the trek has started )and during the trek duration the trek gets canceled due to unforeseen conditions of nature, government or local authority laws.
However if on reaching the road head treks gets cancelled due to some unforeseen conditions mentioned above partial voucher refund as per point 10.
4. Date Transfer Voucher:
a. A Date Transfer Voucher can be provided against the booking charge, valid for up to 6 months.
b. The Date Transfer Voucher is applicable only if a cancellation request is made at least 15 days before the scheduled trek.
5. Cancellation Charges:
a. If a cancellation request is made within 15 days to 1 week before the trek, a 50% cancellation charge will apply, and a 50% voucher against the booking charge will be issued, valid for up to 6 months on any trek.
b. If a cancellation request is made within one week of the commencement of the trek, a 100% cancellation charge will be applicable on the booking charge.
6. Unforeseen Circumstances: Any costs arising from unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, landslides, road conditions, and other circumstances beyond our control will not be included in the overall trek cost.
7. Early Departure: Any costs arising from early departure from the trip are the responsibility of the traveler.
8. Extra Costs: Any additional costs incurred due to the event of finishing the trip early are the responsibility of the traveler.
9. Inclusion and Exclusion: Inclusions and exclusions are as per the trip itinerary provided by Tripoto and are subject to change based on unforeseen circumstances or operational requirements.
10. Traveler Responsibilities:
a.Travelers are responsible for ensuring they meet all health and fitness requirements for the trek.
b. Any medical conditions or dietary requirements must be communicated to Tripoto in advance.
11. Insurance: Travelers are advised to procure comprehensive travel insurance covering trek cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events.
12. Technical Detail
- Participant Eligibility and Health Requirements for the Trek
- Age Limit: Participants from 08 years and above are welcome to join the Trek.
13. Experience Level:
- First-timers are encouraged to apply, and while previous trekking experience is appreciated, it is not mandatory.
14. Physical Fitness:
- Participants should be capable of carrying a 12 kg Rucksack (backpack). Fitness is crucial, and climbers must possess sufficient stamina to cover a distance of 4 km in 32 minutes without experiencing undue stress.
15. Health Requirements:
– Resting pulse rate: 60 to 90 beats per minute
– Blood Pressure: Diastolic 75 – 85 mm Hg, Systolic 100 – 130 mm Hg
– Resting respiratory rate: 12 to 20 breaths per minute
– No history of liver and kidney issues
– Absence of Diabetes Mellitus, Bronchial Asthma, Epilepsy, Heart problems, Hypertension, etc.
– No existing health issues that might adversely impact the participant during the trek
– BMI under 25 (Exceptions for individuals with heavy bone density and those regularly engaged in weightlifting exercises)
16. Pre-Existing Conditions:
- Participants with any pre-existing medical conditions or those currently on medication must declare it in the Self Declaration form.
17. Special Note for Junior Trekkers:
- For participants below 15 years, a parent or guardian must accompany them. Trekkers aged 15 to 18 can participate solo but must provide a signed disclaimer form from a parent or guardian.
18. Tripoto ensures that participants meet the necessary health and fitness criteria, promoting a safe and enjoyable trekking experience in the breathtaking landscapes of the Uttarakhand Himalayas
1) Tripoto reserves the right to modify or cancel the trek due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions, or natural disasters before the commencement date.
2) In the event of a modification or cancellation by Tripoto, an alternative date will be offered or a full refund will be provided.
3) In the event of a cancellation of the trek on reaching the base camp due to Unforeseen conditions , Voucher refund for the services(trek) not provided availed , although transportation and stay expenses will be deducted.
