Day 2 was full of shopping as banaras is manufacturer place of BANARASI SAREES. Anytime u going to banaras do try your hands on few BANARASI saress and dupattas. I m sure u ll neva regret and thank me for this amazing shopping suggestions.
Evening we took a boat ride which costed us 100rs each. Motar boat ride at ganga ghats is another pick point when u visit banaras. The ideal time to take this boat ride is in morning. The view is breath taking.we visited both the times...morning and evening. Also caught of glimpses of kashi ended places to visit. Ya if u moving to any temple in banaras then dont carry too much of cash and please don't try to flaunt your jewellery ...go simple . And cooperate with security officials .
We neva thought that travelling banaras would be so enchanting experience especially trying new cuisines. Wen we move north , we make sure to binge every galli and nukkad to try something new in eateries. So first day we halted at sigri, which is considered to be a high profile area in banaras....but anyways our target was to pitch Dashwamegh ghat at ganga river and attend ganga aarti which ideally we missed on first day . Rather we stop at Pallavi batti chokha restaurant to have our dinner and that was our Best decision coz the batti and chokha was lipsmacking.
On day three , we tried to catch up more of banaras famous ta stalls and gallis to eat good food....So here is the list of good restaurants and places to binge in at banaras....
1. Pallavi batti chokha near sigri.
2. Venkatesh cafe near vishwanath temple galli.
3 blue lassi, on way to manikarnika ghat
4. South Indian idli galli...don't miss this place . Near venkatesh lodge.
5. Kashi chat Bandar near dashwamegh ghat.
