Either you can hire cab from Leh, or take the state buses from Leh. Buses wont stop to get the view of confluence though. If you are fine with hitchhiking, then you would get lots of travelers/locals/bus driver.
Hi, You can land at Leh Airport and then it is nearly 500 Kms on the roadside towards the NH1, which heads to Srinagar. Roads are rough yet beautiful to enjoy the ride. Happy Travelling.
You can either start from leh or Kashmir... Considering current situation Kashmir will be tough... You've to reach kargil, if you start from kashmir... The road from kargil splits into two, one will start to leh, the other to Zanskar valley... Zanskar valley comprises of three different spots to visit...The first of it will be Rangdum, a small village with just one hotel to stay and you'll get few home stays too, after that comes the Panzila Pass , you can enjoy the scenic peak there and then come padum... The interior of zanskar valley... You won't find much of tourists here, the terrain here is completely extreme and extraordinary mountains... If you are goin on a two wheeler, carry extra petrol because after kargil there is no pumps... Four wheeler is good...
