2-Ruins of St. Paul’s

Ruins of St. Paul a popular spot in Macau, which represent the façade of the St. Paul Cathedral which was completed in the year 1580. This is an attraction that none of the traveler would want to miss. The St Paul’s Cathedral was the one that had an architecture blending renaissance and oriental style. It was the largest Catholic Church and was even called as Oriental Vatican and was affiliated to St Paul College. It is one among the eight attractions of Macau. Ruins of St Paul has baroque architecture. The oriental carvings of the Façade are seen plainly like Japanese and Chinese chrysanthemums and peonies. These carvings make this church look unique and stand out from the rest of the catholic churches. Cathedral is no more in the condition to use as only the façade remains but it is still a major part of the life of Macau citizens.


Day 1

3-SENODO SQUARE

The perfect blend of history and modern experiences, Senado Square in Macau, China is a paved town square connecting Largo do Sao Domingos at one end and Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro on the other. Part of the Historic Center of Macau in the UNESCO World Heritage List, the colourfully paved streets of Senado Square make for a wonderful walk through the local and international shops in the square.On special occasions like Chinese New Year and Christmas, the Senate Square comes alive with performances, fireworks and many activities.

4-MACAU TOWER
If one gets a chance to be in Macau or planning for a Macau trip, Macau tower should be a major landmark to be added to the must-see list. It is the building designed by Gordon Moller, a popular architect from New Zealand.By the time when the construction was finished, it became the eighth highest tower in Asia and tenth in the whole world.
There are different adventurous activities organized in this place, which include Skywalk X at level 61, Bungee Jump from the height of about 732 feet and Mast climb from the height of 328 feet to the top of the tower.

5-Macau Museum

Located in Monte Fortress, Macau Museum is a huge display area, exhibiting items and souvenirs of different communities and nationalities. The museum also exhibits how different sects of people had lived here in harmony, preserving their own culture and ethos. Offering an insight into history and culture, it has become one of the best places to visit in Macau with family.

6-Hac Sa Beach

Hac Sa is the largest natural beach located on the south-western side of Coloane Island and one of the serene and splendid places to visit in Macau. This is a black sand beach and offers immense natural beauty. The serene shoreline and splendid beachfront attract nature lovers, honeymoon couples and travelers who prefer peaceful surroundin.

7-Taipa Village

Just a few steps away from the Macaus famous Casino strip lies this traditional village which is one of the best areas of the city preserved. 8-Studio City

Located in the Cotai region of Macau, the Studio city is a hotel and casino resort which is Asias first. 9-Flora Garden

Situated at the foothills of the Guia hill, Flora Garden is an European style garden which is considered as Macaus largest public park. This garden was once used as a ground for Flora Palace which is a mansion built during the Portuguese Macau Era. Inside the garden there is an aviary, a small zoo and a patio. Along with this the garden is adorned with flowerbeds, small waterfalls and belvedere.

10-Macallan Whisky Bar & Lounge

12-Kun Lam Statue

Kim Lam statue is a 20 m tall bronze statue of Goddess of Mercy emerging from a lotus. This work of art is located in outer harbor causeway and is one of the spectacular places to visit in Macau in one day. The lotus structure is an ecumenical center, which shares various pamphlets on Buddhism and preaches the religion too.

13-A-Ma Temple

A-Ma Temple dates back to 1488 and is devoted to the Chinese Goddess Matsu worshiped-by seafarers and fishermen). The ancient temple is one of the top tourist attractions in Macau. It is believed that Macaus name itself was inspired by this temple. The temple boasts of its marvelous architecture, d-cor, style and overall design – all of which combine to make it among the most important places to see in Macau. There are six sections of the temple and each holds significant spiritual significance of its own.

15-THE MACAU GAINT PANDA PAVILION

Day 4

The Macao Giant Panda Pavilion is home to two rare giant pandas, Kai Kai and Xin Xin. Designed to imitate nature with a translucent roof to allow for natural light in the indoor enclosure and a rock wall installed in the outside quarters, the pavilion is set up to mimic their habitat features. The park has several other attractions that will keep you busy all day; a walk at the aviary, a small zoo, a medicinal plant garden, an exotic plant garden, and a playground for kids.

16-Cunha Bazaar

Macao is a city with experience of all kinds. Contrasting to the happening and wild nightlife of the city, there's this village stuck in time gone by. Dotted with cute, pastel-coloured houses this place is the perfect destination for a leisurely walk.
This four-storey shop on the corner of Taipa Village's Rua do Cunha pedestrian street has the motherlode of made-in-Macau gifts, T-shirts, candies and more.
