Assam is a state in northeastern India known for its wildlife, archaeological sites and tea plantations. In the west, Guwahati, Assam’s largest city, features silk bazaars and the hilltop Kamakhya Temple. Umananda Temple sits on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River. Itinerary
  • On arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be traditionally welcomed by our representative
  • Visit the famous Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10 km) – a seat of the tantric cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country
  • Later, get a transfer to Shillong
  • Reach Shillong after 3 hours journey (approximately)
  • Check-in to the hotel and relax
  • After freshen up, visit Cathedral of Mary and the Polo Ground
  • The evening is free for leisurely activities and shopping in the famous Police Bazaar in Shillong
  • Overnight stay in Shillong
  • Wake up early and have breakfast
  • Drive to Mawlynnong
  • Today, you can explore Mawlynnong
  • Witness the spectacular view of the Living Root Bridge
  • After lunch, drive to Dawki
  • Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place
  • It is a splendid drive of 45 kilometres passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience
  • On approaching Dawki is the Umngot river which is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi Hills
  • Later, return to Shillong
  • Overnight stay in Shillong
  • After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee which is famed for being the wettest place in the world
  • After a drive of 1 ½ hour amid pine trees and mists, reach Cherrapunjee
  • Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves
  • Visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Rama Krishna Mission, Eco Park and the Thangkharang Park
  • Later, return to Shillong
  • Overnight stay in Shillong
  • After breakfast, get a transfer to Kaziranga National Park
  • En route, you will visit the largest manmade lake of Northeast India – Umium Lake
  • Explore Kaziranga throughout the day
  • In the evening, visit Tea Garden near the park
  • Overnight stay at the resort in Kaziranga
  • Early morning, you will be taken to the riding point in the Central Range (Kohora) for an Elephant Ride (direct payment)
  • After the ride, return to the hotel
  • After lunch, drive to the Central Range (Kohora) of the park for a jeep safari (direct payment)
  • Overnight stay in Kaziranga
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel
  • Get a transfer to Guwahati
  • On arrival, check-in to the hotel
  • In the evening, enjoy a DJ Cruise on the mighty River Brahmaputra (subject to availability/direct payment basis)

Remaining 40% of tour cost has to be cleared before the travel date.

Between 15 days to 29 days before departure: 50% of the tour cost or initial booking amount, whichever is higher

Less than 10 days before departure: 100% of the tour cost will be charged
