Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Paro-Thimphu

  • Take a flight from your city and arrive at Paro on your own
  • Transfer to Thimphu
  • Stop at Tachogang LhaKhang and visit the famous Iron chain bridges
  • In the afternoon, visit Tash Choe Dzong Viewpoint
  • In the evening, you could take some time out for shopping

Day 2: Explore Thimphu

  • Post breakfast, transfer to Dodhina
  • On reaching, hike towards Cheri Monastery
  • Return back to Thimphu for lunch

  • Also, enjoy collecting Bhutanese Postcards from Bhutan Post
  • Finally, visit Kuensel Phodrang and witness the world’s tallest statue of Buddha

Day 3: Arrival at Punakha via Dochula Pass

Day 5: Trek to Bumdrak

  • Post breakfast, transfer to Sang Choekhor Monastery, starting point of the trek
  • On arrival, start a 7 hours trek to Bumdrak
  • On reaching, relax for a bit and then visit the quaint Bumdra Monastery
  • Stop for lunch
  • On reaching, enjoy an overnight stay in a tented accommodation; Bumdra camp

Day 6: Trek to Tiger’s Nest & Departure to Paro

  • Post breakfast, head out to start the trek towards Tiger’s Nest Monastery
  • It would take around 3.5 hours to reach the Monastery
  • Explore various temples and chambers of the famed
  • Post lunch, depart to Paro
  • On the way back, stop to have a traditional Bhutanese dinner at a farmhouse near Paro
  • Also, you could choose to indulge in a Bhutanese Hot Stone Bath

Day 7: Departure to your city

  • Post breakfast, head to the airport to catch a flight to your city
