Trip itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Egypt
Arrival at Cairo airport. Meet and assist by our representative who will help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Transfer to your hotel for free time.
Day 2: Great Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara
Your real holiday starts right now.
Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to discover it from inside?
Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed? Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara.
Day 3: Fly to Aswan - Aswan Tour
Transfer to Cairo airport to fly to Aswan. Meet and assist by our representative in Aswan. Meet your guide to commence your tour to the High Dam, the lovely Temple of Philae, and the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Transfer to your hotel.
Late afternoon, you will take the traditional sailboat called a Felucca for a ride around Elephantine Island. Back to your hotel for a free evening in Aswan.
Day 4: Kom Ombo - Edfu - Luxor
Breakfast at the hotel, then drive toward Luxor. On your way, you will visit the twin Temple of Horus and Sobek and the Crocodile Museum at Kom Ombo, and at the most intact temple in Egypt, the Temple of Horus at Edfu. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Transfer to your hotel in Luxor.
Day 5: Kings Valley, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon
Breakfast at the hotel, then visit the stunning tombs of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom at the Valley of the Kings. Proceed to the Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, and the giant Colossi of Memnon. Take your lunch at a local restaurant.
Back to your hotel for a free evening.
Day 6: Karnak & Luxor Temples - Fly to Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the largest temple in the world, the Temple of Karnak and the majestic Temple of Luxor. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Transfer to Luxor airport to fly back to Cairo. Transfer from Cairo airport to your hotel.
Day 7: Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili
Today, you will explore the fantastic contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of Egypt’s past are displayed on the two floors of the museum. Eye-catching objects such as the golden treasure of Tutankhamen, the silver treasure of Psusennes I, the diorite statue of Khafre, and several other pieces are on view. From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, built-in 1172 to protect Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel. You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.
