My suggestion is you go out there and explore the local stays which you cannot find on the internet. You might end up with some decent but cheap places to stay. Or you could try the Airbnb or Oyo app.

Try Youth Hostel there. Charges you around 150 rs per night for dormitory. if you are member , then only rupees 75. or something around that.
