I completed the Char Dham Yatra, visiting Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri, starting from Haridwar. It was an unforgettable journey filled with spirituality and stunning landscapes. Transportation: From Haridwar, you can travel by road to each dham. Buses and shared cabs are available, but I recommend hiring a private vehicle for comfort. For Kedarnath, you’ll need to trek about 18 km from Gaurikund. Pony rides and helicopter services are also available if trekking is difficult. Accommodation: Finding accommodation during peak season can be tricky. I suggest booking a package for a smooth trip. Packages often include clean rooms, meals, and travel arrangements, making it less stressful. During my trip, I booked my package at Manchala Mushafir, which provided me a comfortable journey with all the facilities. Trekking Essentials: For Kedarnath and Yamunotri treks, pack warm clothes, a sturdy pair of shoes, a raincoat, a water bottle, and energy snacks. Don’t forget a first-aid kit and personal toiletries. for more information, click here- https://www.manchalamushafir.com/things-to-pack-for-kedarnath-yatra/ Booking a package ensures you don’t have to worry about managing everything, especially during the crowded peak season. It made my journey much easier and allowed me to focus on the spiritual experience.
