The best place to visit in nepal is Pokhara. You can get there by flight from kolkata, or there are bus services from gorakhpur and birgunj( after crossing nepal border from raxual). Hotels and food are cheap, carry enough currency, you can also plan skydiving at pokhara. Pokhara is a city of lakes, with everything a traveler finds, that is good food, scenic beauty, cheap hotels, shopping, good restaurants, few nightclubs, adventure like skydiving, watching sunrise at himalayan range, and peace pagoda.
