In my opinion you can visit Peru. The top most reason would be that it is the safest country in South America and it has so much to offer!
To reach Lima in the cheapest way you can take a flight to either London or Amsterdam and then take a flight from there to Lima. Total return ticket will cost you INR 80k.
Your trip highlights would include Machu Pichu, Cusco, Lima, Arequipa and Lake Titicaca. P.S. I can make a proper itinerary for you if you pay for my flights :P
